Witchly Arts and Crafts

SAMHAIN
Okay, I love Samhain/Halloween. It is probably one of my favorite Pagan holidays. Now, some people may get offended that I am putting projects that may have "stereotypical images of witches". Do yourself a favor. Don't. Learn to get off of the PC bandwagon because otherwise you're going to spend your life wasting energy on being offended. This energy is much better spent elsewhere. I used to be one of you - back in my Pagan days. The sight of all of the stereotypes during Samhain really pissed me off. Then I grew older and realized something: people don't display these images because they think we're evil (let's face it, those that think we worship Satan want nothing to do with Halloween in the first place). They put them up in good spirits. So, it's up to the individual to take it as it is meant to be: fun. Embrace it or don't. It's up to you.

A Note: I'm going to break this section up into two - "Halloween" and "Samhain". The purpose of this is to allow readers to look for crafts that are Sabbat-specific or not. None of these crafts are mine but they are "free". (Hey, I'm "frugal", what can I say?) Some creators have specific requirements that you may want to check out before deciding to sell your creations and as always, it's a good idea to post pictures of your own work should you decide to share a full pattern. Sometimes people prefer that you just post a link to their blogs and out of respect, I try to do just that if it's been requested by the designer. With that said, happy crafting!

Halloween
Here are some links to some Halloween crochet patterns (I realize I've been posting quite a few crochet patterns lately, but that's what I'm really into at the moment. I'll try to find some other craft-forms when I have the time and inclination).

I actually plan on making these before the holiday.
